It contains all three printing colours in a single cartridge: cyan, magenta and yellow. It is designed for printing schoolwork, documents with graphics, presentations and colour images.

How many pages does this compatible HP 305XL print?

This tri-colour cartridge has a declared yield of up to 450 pages. This is a figure provided for the compatible product, not the official HP yield.

The lifespan may vary depending on the amount of colour used, the documents printed and the conditions of use.

What is the difference between HP 305 and HP 305XL colour?

The main difference between the original HP 305 and HP 305XL versions is their ink capacity and approximate page yield:

• Original HP 305 colour (3YM60AE): approximately 100 pages.
• Original HP 305XL colour (3YM63AE): approximately 200 pages.
• This compatible HP 305XL: up to 450 pages of declared yield.

The figures correspond to different products and may be based on different test conditions, so they should not be interpreted as a direct comparison of yield.

Does it include black ink?

No. This cartridge contains only cyan, magenta and yellow. If you also need black ink, you can purchase the compatible HP 305XL black or choose the HP 305XL black and colour compatible cartridge pack.

Is it an original HP cartridge?

No. It is a compatible cartridge manufactured by a third party as an alternative to the original HP 305XL tri-colour (3YM63AE).

Does it work with HP+ printers?

Printers with HP+ may require original HP cartridges. In addition, certain models incorporate dynamic security systems that may prevent the use of consumables with third-party electronics.

If your device has HP+ enabled or you use HP Instant Ink, check the terms of use before purchasing this cartridge.

What do I do if my printer does not recognise the cartridge?

Check that the reference is correct, that the cartridge is installed properly and that you have removed the shipping protections.
